Building upon what he had learned from his father, a man who ran a metal hose manufacturing business called Hose Masters, Inc. Sam Foti was able to blend practical experience in business with his sound academic training. This lead him to pursue the president position within Hose Masters and truly test his mettle in the business world. He soon found that his knack for leadership served him well and he helped to bring the company to a more modern business model by instituting what he had learned in school. For more than 12 years, Mr. Foti was able to lead Hose Masters to become a major supplier of metal hoses by adopting the practices and strategies that gave it an edge over its competitors. When he came aboard the MONY Life Insurance Company in February of 1994 he set out to do what he is so well known for, revolutionize the way the company did business from the ground up. He succeeded and is now one of America’s foremost businessmen.
